STATEMENT OF FAITH

SFCC STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe…

…Jesus Christ in His Incarnation is fully God and fully Man: The only Son of God; In His crucifixion died for the sins of the world: The Lamb of God; In His resurrection was declared with power: The reigning Son of God.

We believe…

...that personally accepting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord brings about our salvation and makes us each a child of God; comes not by works but through faith by the Grace of God; includes us as His people from all nations, the family of God.

We believe…

...and commit ourselves as disciples of Jesus Christ; there is no higher authority than the Word of God; in the ongoing sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit and seek to be baptized, filled and led by the Spirit of God; in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to further advance the Kingdom of God; in using all our resources and gifts to the glory of God.

We believe…

...Christ will return to judge and renew all things. We  prepare in eager expectation and pray, “Come, Lord Jesus!”
